Description
The quickest and yummiest mug cake ever – with easy ingredients you probably have in your kitchen already. This will be a huge winner if you are a fan of anything peppermint chocolate!
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 tablespoons self-raising flour (or 1 1/2 tablespoons of plain flour and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder)
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
- 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips, plus extra to sprinkle on top.
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small ramekin dish or small mug.
- Mix with a teaspoon until well combined.
- Place in microwave for 90 seconds, then remove and sprinkle extra choc chips on top.
- Best enjoyed warm straight from the microwave.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm straight from the microwave. If you let the cake sit for a while in the ramekin or mug after removing from the microwave, it may go a little hard and lose its fluffiness!
